Welcome to the Rugby Deanery Website. On this site you will find contact details and links to websites, where they exist, for all the Catholic Parishes in the Deanery, together with Mass Times and details of our Catholic Schools. Our website brings together the resources of the Rugby Catholic Deanery and provides information about Deanery wide activity. Rugby is one of eighteen deaneries which make up the Catholic Archdiocese of Birmingham. The Rugby Deanery has the following parishes: English Martyrs (Rugby), Our Lady of the Angels (Nuneaton), Our Lady of the Sacred Heart (Bulkington) and St Francis of Assisi (Bedworth), Sacred Heart (Rugby), St Anne (Nuneaton), St Benedict (Atherstone), St Marie’s (Rugby) and St Joseph, (Monks Kirby). Year for Priests link . The Solemnity of the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus on June 8 marks the start of a Year for Priests in the Archdiocese of Birmingham. This is a year of thanksgiving, prayer and celebration for the priests of this diocese, in preparation for a national celebration of priesthood on the Solemnity of the Sacred Heart in 2019. RUGBY DEANERY VISITATIONS These will take place between 10th October 2018 with the Opening Meeting and then will end with a Deanery Mass on 19th March 2019. The Archbishop will be visiting Bulkington and Bedworth (Date still to be confirmed) and St Anne’s, Chapel End. Bishop William Kenney CP will visit the rest of the Parishes. Coventry Cathedral Sunday October 29th at 4 pm. Everyone is welcome to attend and participate in an ecumenical commemoration of the 500th anniversary of the Reformation at Coventry Cathedral on Sunday October 29th at 4 pm. Our guest speakers will be Bishop William Kenney and Senior Pastor Albrecht Köstlin-Büürma. Music will be led and performed by the Choir of Beverley Minster.
